Hi! I’m Chantal Clarke (She/They)!
I am thrilled to announce a significant milestone in my journey: I am now offering counselling sessions as a Master’s-level student counsellor part of my practicum with Healing Journeys NL, under the supervision of Heather D. Cook, M.Ed., CCC.
This new chapter is something I have been working towards for a long time! Together, we will create a warm and welcoming space where your voice feels heard, your experiences are validated, and your strengths are rediscovered.
My areas of focus include managing anxiety and stress, coping with depression, supporting individuals with ADHD and learning disabilities, navigating life transitions, fostering personal growth, exploring identity, and advocating for LGBTQIA+ experiences. My approach is collaborative, client-centred, and non-judgmental, rooted in empathy and relationship-building, while staying solution-focused and affirming of 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals. Moreover, I tend to work from a CBT orientation; however, I am flexible and will tailor our sessions to your unique needs and identity.
A little about me outside of therapy: I attended Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology, focusing on biology for health professions. I chose to lean into a biology background to gain a solid understanding of human behaviour and the biological processes that influence us. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in counselling through Yorkville University to become a certified Canadian counsellor (CCC).
When I am not at school or work, you will most likely find me reading. I adore contemporary romances! Additionally, I spend a lot of my free time making crafts or playing video games. I mainly play cozy games; Animal Crossing remains my favourite.

Hi, I’m Emily. I work with teens and adults (16+) on the challenges that life brings — whether that’s anxiety, stress, big transitions, identity, self-esteem, relationships, or simply feeling stuck.
Many of the people I support come in carrying worry, perfectionism, or self-doubt, and are looking for a space to breathe and figure things out. In our work together, I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and begin to feel more grounded, balanced, and confident in yourself. My approach is talk therapy based and flexible, drawing from different methods to meet your unique needs.
Together, we’ll explore tools and strategies to reconnect with your strengths, build confidence, and move forward in ways that feel authentic. I know how scary it can be to reach out to a stranger, so I create a safe, inclusive space with authenticity, affirming support, and laid-back vibes where you can access the support and resources you need to help you!
